Sailing Energy - Ocean Race

Pomezia (RM), July 2023

Resolfin, a leading company in the visual and sustainable communication sector, has announced a collaboration with the prestigious sailing competition, the Ocean Race, to promote marine conservation during the final stage which will be held in Genoa, from 24 June to 2 July.

Resolfin, known for its commitment to the use of ecological materials and sustainable production processes, will join the Ocean Race to raise public awareness of the importance of protecting marine waters.

During the final stage in Genoa, Resolfin will supply elements of visual communication and flags made with Bluebanner fabric, an innovative material produced from 65% recycled fabric from the recovery of plastics at sea.

Resolfin’s commitment was also appreciated by the association for the protection of the marine environment Marevivo: the renowned association, starting from 2023, has started a partnership relationship with Resolfin, which will supply representation material to the association and to all Associates.

The objective of the collaborations, both with Marevivo and with the Ocean Race, is to promote sustainable and responsible practices towards the marine environment, encouraging the adoption of conscious behavior and the reduction of pollution.

Resolfin and the Ocean Race will work to raise public awareness of water conservation and the importance of preserving marine heritage.

The final stage in Genoa thus becomes a privileged stage for the promotion of greater environmental awareness, highlighting the crucial role that businesses and sports competitions can play in the fight for sustainability.

Resolfin, always attentive to eco-sustainability, has adopted various active solutions for environmental sustainability, most recently the use of the Bluebanner:

  1. Installation of photovoltaic panels for energy independent production;
  2. Use of raw materials from recycled sources and recyclable final products;
  3. Use of 97% water-based inks;
  4. Installation of an efficient air intake and filtering system;
  5. Use of latest generation machinery in industry 4.0;
  6. Participation in reforestation with a tree planted for every roll of fabric used.
